Chooki Landscape Staples are 6" x 1" x 6" — 6 inches on each leg with a 1-inch crown. This is the industry-standard size for landscape fabric, weed barrier, and erosion control applications.

Our staples are made from 11-gauge steel — heavy enough to drive straight into compacted soil without bending, while still being easy to install by hand or with a rubber mallet.

No. Every Chooki staple is hot-dip galvanized, which means the zinc coating goes all the way through — not just a surface layer. This gives deep, long-lasting rust and corrosion protection even in wet or acidic soils.

A good rule of thumb is 1 staple per square foot of fabric edge. For a typical 10x10 garden bed (40 linear feet of edge), a 50-pack is plenty. For larger yards or multiple beds, the 100 or 200-pack is the most popular choice. Contractors doing large jobs typically go with the 500-pack for the best value per staple.

Chooki staples work great for: weed barrier & ground cover, fresh sod installation, artificial grass & turf, drip irrigation & soaker hose, erosion control blankets, garden netting, and row cover fabric. Basically anything you need to pin flat to the ground.

Simply position the staple over the material and push it straight down into the soil. In softer soils you can press by hand. For harder or clay soils, tap lightly with a rubber mallet. Space them every 1–2 feet along edges and seams for best hold.
